Masks, Tasks, and Flasks. Hope in the Midst of the Hubbub

Spent a lovely fall day with the “Ladies of Mount Carmel” in my home parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Doylestown, Tuesday October 20, 2020.

We looked at the larger issues currently facing the Catholic - and all - churches in the US. We examined St. Pope John Paul II’s Christifideles Laici, The Vocation and the Mission of the Lay Faithful in the Church and in the World.

We introduced two ways of praying in the midst of these challenging ties: An Ignatian Examin and a contemporary tool to engage in Lectio Divina.

A thoroughly enjoyable day!
