Almost two years ago, I brought together a group of parishioners to consider two questions:

1. Since it’s really HIS parish, what does Jesus Christ want the parish of St. Monica to look like in five years?
2. If St. Monica closed tomorrow - besides parishioners - who would miss us?

We considered, prayed about and discerned these questions for almost 16 months. Eventually it seemed as if Christ was saying, “I want to encounter you in Service to Others, In My Word, and In The Sacred Liturgy.

Over the past six months, much has happened within the context of those three items. This weekend I presented a fuller version of the direction / vision for St. Monica. A copy of the presentation slides are provided here below:
