Spiritual Classics

In order to aid in the spiritual formation of the Parish of St. Monica, I shall be presenting brief overviews of Spiritual Classics of Catholic Spirituality over the next several months. For the most part these will be presented to spiritually enrich the leadership and membership of the various groups, clubs and organizations within the parish. Nevertheless, by placing the presentation on this website, hopefully others will benefit as well.

Much of the ideas I shall present will be gleaned from the book,  The Classics of Catholic Spirituality by Dominican priest Peter John Cameron, O.P.

In our first presentation, we examine the INTRODUCTION TO THE DEVOUT LIFE by St. Francis deSales.

If you go to my web page entitled, Spiritual Classics,” in the first paragraphs is a link to “The Classics of Catholic Spirituality.” That’s the book I’m using as primary reference site. It links to Amazon to purchase if interested.
