Ok. I admit it. I did take that vow of celibacy. There are those who would say that this disqualifies me (or any priest) from commenting on raising children. Look, it’s a vow of celibacy, not a frontal lobotomy.
But that I may address the skeptics, I shall turn to the experts – parents.
Some time ago, Jennifer Fitz (read about her here) asked LarryD from Acts of the Apostasy all about chastity and teenage boys. They had a little “back and forth” on the topic – not arguing but offering advice on the needs of both boys (from a man’s perspective) and girls (from a woman’s perspective).
